CREWSAVER TO ENTER THE INFLATABLE BOAT MARKET WITH NEW PRODUCT RANGE

Crewsaver, a Survitec brand and leading supplier of safety and survival equipment to the leisure marine industry, is introducing two new compact, and quick-to-inflate boats in a development that marks the company’s entry into the inflatable boat market.

“Survitec is well recognised as a leading rescue boat supplier to the commercial marine and defence industries. As such, we are well positioned to transfer these technologies into an inflatable boat range for the leisure industry, helping to ensure a design and build quality that our customers can trust and rely on,” said Matt Bridge, Commercial Director, Survitec.

The Crewsaver brand is widely known as the foremost supplier of lifejackets and safety equipment to the leisure sector, with a history going back more than 60 years.

“Designed to meet market demand for a lightweight and easy-to-deploy, inflatable boat. the Crewsaver Inflatable Boat range is a great and fitting extension to the portfolio,” said Bridge.

Featuring excellent rigidity and increased performance, the range is available in three different sizes, with either a slatted or air deck.

The boat range has been designed to suit a number of different uses, such as a tender for yacht transfers or for those simply looking for some small boat fun on the water.

Crewsaver Inflatable Boats are designed for up to three persons, with sizes ranging from 185m to 260m in length.

Quick to inflate and deflate by way of one touch inflation valves, the design features a PVC laminated solid transom which can be fixed to stern davits by using integral davit eyes and a davit ring. Additional stainless-steel lifting points on the outside of the bow facilitate towing and lashing operations.

Every Crewsaver Inflatable Boat is kitted out with a high-capacity pump, repair kit, two paddles, mooring lines, a sliding alloy seat, and a carry valise.

The new Crewsaver inflatable boat range will be available this spring.

Bridge said: “We have received a high volume of pre-orders for this new Crewsaver product from our retail and distribution networks, which is testament to how the Crewsaver and Survitec brands are viewed. We are very excited to be launching these new boats and look forward to getting them out onto the water.”
