The Clean Shipping Alliance 2020 (CSA2020) was formed in 2018 by a group of merchant and  cruise shipowners to provide information and research data to better inform the global shipping industry, Flag States, regulators and NGOs on the environmental benefits associated with the use of open- and closed-loop Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS).
